Greetings!
I hope you had a great July. We were able to escape for a long weekend and headed to Boston. It was the first time traveling a long distance as a family of 6 and needless to say, it was longer than usual journey to get back and forth to Boston. The kids had a great time, we went to the zoo, Aquarium and baseball game (that was for me). We also hit up Quincy Market every night and the kids loved watching and interacting with the street performers. We we able to see some very talented people, it was a lot of fun. Kaci celebrated her 9th birthday in July as well.

Lastly, every year Greece Rotary sponsors a foreign exchange student that comes to the United States to learn about our local community and the Country as a whole. We are looking for families to host this year’s exchange student. If you live in the Greece Athena school district or know someone who does and would want to help host our exchange student, let me know. I have been impressed by all of the exchange students that we have hosted, they are fun, caring and worldly. It’s amazing to see the transformation they make in one year. It truly is a life changing experience, not only for them, but for the host families as well. Anyone that I know that has hosted an exchange student has raved about the experience and keep in touch with the student years afterwards.
