Pay: $35,000.00 – $40,000.00 per year

What are we looking for?

  • Associates degree or higher
  • 2 years of office work experience
  • Ability to obtain Property & Casualty Insurance License

VanScoter Insurance Agency, LLC (www.vanscoterinsurance.com) an independent property & casualty (auto, home, business, and life insurance) insurance agency is looking for a full-time Insurance Account Representative.

Office hours are Monday – Thursday 8:15am-5pm and Friday 8:15am-4:30pm with 45 minutes for lunch.

The Insurance Account Representative position is responsible for servicing, quoting and selling (make sure you are comfortable with this part, it’s important) new insurance policies; requoting existing customers; performing account reviews for current customers, recommending coverages & suggesting cost-saving ideas. The Insurance Account Representative will be required to take customer payments, issue certificates of insurance, assist in placing claims and following up on claim progress, in addition to some other administrative duties. It’s a small office, so you need to be willing to pitch in and help wherever is necessary.
